The Pocket Guest bed has two identical specification mattress both with hand nested pocketed springs in a single layer complimented by a mixture of padding layers. The top mattress is 200cm long allowing the standard sized single mattress to slide underneath. The mattresses are zip and linked for added security when used as a double removing the gap in the centre. Hand finished using the very best materials and British craftsmanship."
The mattresses contain 1050 (in a Double) individual hand nested pocketed springs in a single tier so that they act independently.
The springs are upholstered with a white felt pad and bonded fibre and upholstered in the highest quality Belgian jacquard damask fabric.
The border is 18.5cm deep fluted, Flag stitched horizontal handles are added along with nickel finished solid brass air vents which allow body moisture to be dispersed rapidly and hygienically.
The mattress is hand tufted with cotton tufts.
The Mattresses are both medium tensions.
Both mattresses are zipped so when used as a king sized bed they can be joined together removing any possibility of the beds separating.
The Divan over bed has solid timber joints at both the head and foot ends. The under bed is on castors mounted on Lock and Lift metal legs, the castors rotate out of the way when the legs are extended providing a firm base. The under bed unit lifts to the same height as the Guest Bed allowing use as a Single Bed, Twin Beds or a king sized bed.
